Inquiry scopeThe Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rt Hon George Osborne MP, gave his Budget Statement on 20 March 2013. As part of the Treasury Committee's inquiry into the Budget 2013, evidence hearings started on Monday 25 March at 4.00pm. This session took evidence from a range city economists and industry experts. On the following day, Tuesday 26 March, the Office for Budget Responsibility and the Rt Hon George Osborne MP were questioned by the Committee.
