As mentioned above, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation stated that “some certificate holders may be unwilling to seek medical assistance if they feel that this could affect their suitability to retain their certificate(s)”.229 Consequently, Fraser Lamb, Firearms Licensing Adviser for the Scottish Association for Country Sports, told us that shooting organisations like the Scottish Association for Country Sports “have done a lot of work on trying to stop that or trying to advise people accordingly”.230
