The Government welcomes the Committee’s report on the UK’s offer of visa and settlement routes for residents of Hong Kong. We are grateful for the acknowledgement of the work done so far to create a bespoke immigration route for those individuals with BN(O) status and their family members. The BN(O) route opened for applications on 31 January and has already been a success with approximately 64,900 applications made as of 30 June.
