Conduct analysis of all discretionary claims and report findings to the Committee within two months.

Recommendation
We call on the Home Office to conduct an analysis of all discretionary claims received to date to establish the types of loss people are claiming for. The Department must provide its findings to this Committee within two months of publication of this report and explain how it will address them. (Paragraph 215) Compensation for individuals who were unable to return to the UK

We have committed to keeping all categories within the Scheme under review. Feedback from our quality assurance processes alongside that received from our Tier 1 and Tier 2 reviews ensure we have real time insight enabling us to identify trends in decision making and any elements of the Schemes’ policy which require additional scrutiny and review.
