Inquiry scope
Following the announcement that a General Election will be held on 4 July, Select Committees will be unable to meet from 24 May and will cease to exist from 30 May until after the General Election. This work has therefore closed This session will explore the implementation of the scheme designed to remedy harm caused by reforms to police pensions, along with the impact of continued uncertainty on serving and retired officers. It will go on to look at the extent to which mental health support across the police service is fit for purpose.Oral evidence sessions
