Conclusion (the committee's words)
We note the fact that the Charity Commission and the PHSO have reached a common understanding of their respective roles and that the Commission has now acknowledged that a criminal conviction is not a prerequisite for regulatory sanctions. We further note the Commission’s assurances that Sir Gary Hickinbottom’s review will consider whether the most appropriate regulatory sanction was applied in Ms Hall’s case.
