New Secretary of State's priorities inquiry
Status: Closed
Opened: 12 Jun 2019
Closed: 25 Jul 2019
Inquiry scope
This evidence session aimed to accomplish two things. The Committee began by questioning the new Secretary of State for International Development, Rt Hon Rory Stewart MP, on his priorities for the role and for the Department (as we did with the previous incumbent). This included questions about DFID’s commitments which the Committee has recently scrutinised such as climate change and disability.Oral evidence sessions
