Conclusion
We welcome the creation of a new Private Rented Sector Ombudsman. If implemented well, we are confident that the new ombudsman will provide an effective alternative route for redress. However, the government needs to provide further clarity on how the new ombudsman will interact with other parts of the regulatory system, especially local authorities. (Conclusion, Paragraph 75) 82
