Inquiry scopeThe purpose of this inquiry is to explore the findings of the Independent Review of the Construction Products Testing Regime, which the Government commissioned following the Grenfell Tower fire to recommend ways of improving the regulation of construction products. For this inquiry, the Committee will take oral evidence from the authors of the review, Paul Morrell OBE, formerly the Government’s first Chief Construction Adviser, and Anneliese Day KC, and later from a Minister in the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
