On 14 June 2016 we held a pre-appointment hearing with Sir Edward Lister, the Government’s preferred candidate for the post of Chair of the Homes and Communities Agency. On the basis of the evidence provided at this hearing, we have concluded that he is a suitable candidate for the post.
