Inquiry scope
The Committee investigated the work of the Regulation Committee responsible for social housing regulation. It called for written evidence and held an oral evidence session with the Chair of the Regulation Committee, Julian Ashby . It subsequently published its report on Wednesday 11 September 2013. In its report, the Committee expressed concern over the regulation of social housing . The Committee has published a response from the regulator and is awaiting a response from the Government which is expected later in the autumn.
