The Government should also issue its response to the consultation on the draft Waste Prevention Programme for England: Towards a Resource-Efficient Economy not later than the date the House rises for the 2022 summer recess. This will be over a year since the consultation closed. Industry and stakeholders require clear direction on future plans for waste prevention and resource efficiency now.
