Inquiry scope
The Environmental Audit Committee examines the Government response to the Natural Capital Committee's (NCC) “State of Natural Capital” report (PDF 124.57 KB) . In June the EAC published a report on ‘Well-being’ , which included an examination of the work of the NCC and recommended that the NCC be put a permanent footing and its proposal for a 25-year action plan be adopted by the Government. The Government has now announced that the NCC’s remit will continue to September 2015 (a 6-month extension to its 3-year current term).
