Inquiry scope
The Committee examined the progress of preparations in England for adapting to the impact of climate change. This followed and takes forward the publication on 9 July 2014 by the Adaptation Sub-Committee of the Committee on Climate Change of its latest progress report ‘Managing climate risks to well-being and the economy’ . The Adaptation Sub-Committee reports on the delivery of the Government’s July 2013 National Adaptation Programme (NAP), which set out the actions to be taken by Government, business and society to become more climate ready.
