The UK and Norway have agreed a Framework Fisheries Agreement which it is proposed will take effect from 1 January 2021. The agreement is required to provide arrangements for after the transition period when the UK will no longer be covered by the existing EU-Norway Fisheries Agreement. Separate to this agreement, negotiations are taking place between the UK, Norway and the EU, to establish trilateral governance arrangements for fish stocks in the North Sea. Show less
