Conclusion
We heard compelling evidence that climate change poses a growing threat to UK food production and food security. Yet public concern about the use of farmland for solar development appears to be greater than concern about the impact of climate change on the land itself. Those opposing renewable infrastructure have been more effective at mobilising concerns about food security than those making the case for climate action. (Conclusion, Paragraph 34)
