Accept in principle. The Government agrees that patient involvement in services is important, and that this should be taking place in all areas of health and care. The Care Quality Commission’s assessments of Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) already include consultation with patient groups and patient outcomes, and we continue to believe in the importance of this.
