Inquiry scopeThe Independent Commission on Adult Social Care, led by Baroness Louise Casey, was launched on 29 April 2025. The Commission is expected make clear recommendations to define and build the adult social care system that will meet the current and future needs of the population. Split over two phases, the Commission will set out a vision for adult social care, with recommended measures and a roadmap for delivery. The Committee will question Baroness Casey on her findings and progress of the Commission. It will also be an opportunity to question Minister Kinnock on social care reform and other topical questions in social care.
