Inquiry scopeA topical session with the RCN’s General Secretary Pat Cullen and BMA Deputy Council Chair Dr Emma Runswick focusing on continuing pay disputes in the NHS. The impact of disruption for patients, concerns over patient safety and union demands will be top of the agenda. In a separate panel with representatives of NHS trusts and employers, MPs will consider the impact of strikes and proposed steps to resolve the disputes, the likelihood of co-ordinated action and the longer-term effect on the NHS recovery plan.
